Enrollment Policies Summary

Our policies are in place to protect the health, safety, and well-being of all children and to ensure compliance with California Community Care Licensing (Title 22) requirements.

This summary is intended to give families a clear, helpful overview.

• Enrollment is based on age eligibility, space availability, staffing ratios, and licensing capacity
• Joining the waitlist does not guarantee placement
• Enrollment offers are made when an appropriate space becomes available
• A child may not begin care until all required documentation is completed and approved

• Start dates are scheduled based on program readiness and staffing 
• Start dates are confirmed only after: 
  • Enrollment offer acceptance 
  • Required forms are completed 
  • Licensing requirements are met

To meet state licensing regulations:

• Children must have current immunizations or approved exemptions 
• A Physician’s Report and health documentation are required before attendance 
• Families must notify the program of: 
  • Illness 
  • Communicable disease
  • Changes in health status
     

Children who are ill or unable to participate may be excluded from care in accordance with Title 22 health and safety standards.

• Enrollment is based on an agreed-upon schedule 
• Tuition is charged regardless of attendance 
• Schedule changes are subject to availability and approval 
• Repeated absences without notification may affect enrollment status

• Tuition rates are set by program and schedule 
• Tuition is due as outlined in the enrollment agreement 
• Fees and deposits are non-refundable
• Families are responsible for full tuition regardless of attendance, absences, holidays, vacations, or closures not required by licensing, or schedule changes

• Enrollment of subsidized children may be limited by funding requirements 
• Families are responsible for any portion of tuition not covered by assistance

• 30-day written notice is required to withdraw from the program 
• Failure to provide proper notice may result in continued tuition charges

Enrollment is offered without discrimination in accordance with state and federal law and Community Care Licensing regulations. 

Policies may be updated to maintain compliance with:

• Community Care Licensing (Title 22) 
• Public health guidance 
• Operational requirements
