Rise and Shine is an infant/toddler center dedicated to nurturing children aged 2-24 months. As we continue to grow in 2025, we seek qualified Early Childhood Educators to join our team. Your Role: As a member of our team, you’ll play an essential role in shaping children’s growth through observation and listening. We believe in child-directed learning, where teachers, assistants, and aides create dynamic, engaging interactions based on the children's interests, using materials and curricula that inspire curiosity and exploration.

Minimum Requirements:

• Teacher/Lead Teacher: 24+ semester units (or equivalent quarter units) in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or Child Development (CD), including core classes and 3 infant/toddler care units. A Child Development Permit (CDP) is required or must be completed within 90 days of hire.
• Associate Teacher/Teacher: 12+ ECE units (including core), with 3 infant/toddler care units. CDP is required to be completed within 90 days of hire.
• Assistant: 6+ ECE units. CDP is required to be completed within 90 days of hire.

Candidates with additional qualifications, such as a degree in ECE or Child Development, will be given special consideration.

Requirements for All Roles:

• A commitment to learning and growing professionally.
• Required certifications: First Aid, CPR, and LiveScan (fingerprinting) are needed before working with children. We can help arrange these certifications, and reimbursements are provided after 90 days of successful employment.
• Team members participate in ongoing professional development and training.
