Family Services Agency is growing!  We can now offer our community financial assistance to cover all or part of your infant childcare costs.   

If circumstances do not allow you to cover the costs of daycare in Santa Rosa, you may be eligible. 

Our goal is to help you alleviate the financial stressors of paying for child care and enroll your child in safe and nurturing environment.   

We understand that  times can get tough and paying for childcare on top of your existing expenses can be difficult.  

• Eligibility is based on income and family size
• Funding is limited and applyiing does not guarantee services

Tuition is based on enrollment not attendance for 47 weeks* per year.  

This means payment is due in full according to contract, regardless of days in attendance and/or services provided, including sick, holidays and vacations. 

*Our agency is closed a total of 5 weeks:

1. Winter Break
2. Spring Break
3. Summer Break
4. Thanksgiving Week
5. Christmas

Families are not charged for these closures.  Rather, our weekly rate is divided by 12 equal monthly payments.

Rise and Shine Child Care Centers & Family Services Agency's quality program maintains a very low student/teacher ratio of 3:1 and in many  cases it is 2:1.

• Nutrition program

In addition to our low ratios our rates provide additional quality-improvement benefits, such as our diapering service.  This service includes diapers, wipes and ointment, when necessary, at no additional cost to families while children are in attendance.

Our nutrition program plays a critical role in supporting the wellness, health, and development of all children enrolled regardless of economic status.

We have a child development specialist that provides ongoing observations and assessments of our program to guarantee the developmental needs of each child are being met.

This one-time only fee is required after your child has been accepted into our program.  

This is an annual fee and is pro-rated based on first day of attendance and due every July thereafter. 

This fee is associated with insurance, enrollment process, client file, supplies necessary for newly enrolled child and reserving available space if required.

This fee is also associated with our staff retention program to ensure continuity and stability for your child.

This fee guarantees continuous enrollment until the day before your child's second birthday.

Per minute for any time prior to 8:30 a.m. or after 4:30 p.m.

Account will be billed a per day rate for late payment.

After two returned checks future payments must be made in cash.
